DESCRIPTION:The KCA Level II being held January 25-28\, 2022\, at the KCA Office is the first in-person Level II Class since the beginning of COVID. The KCA encourages those that have been previously certified as KCA Level II (or KRMCA Level II) to register for the virtual Level II Class to allow the in-person class for those that are getting their certification for the first time. Those individuals who are previously certified do NOT need to attend the class to take the test - these individuals can contact the KCA Office directly to schedule a date and time to take the Level II test.\nThe KCA Level II Certification is the required certification for Mix Design Submittals and Ready Mix Plant Operation on KYTC Projects. An approved KCA Level II Certified individual is required to be present at any Ready Mix Plant which furnishes concrete to state jobs. The class covers a vast array of topics - from material science to state specifications to mix designs.\nFollowing the class\, and open book examination is given to those in the class for certification.
